Exercise boosts breast cancer survival
A study in America showed that a daily half-hour session of walking, cycling or swimming can slash the risk of a tumour returning by up to 50%. It also boosts women's chances of survival by almost 70%.
Every cancer patient should avoid inactivity
In 2019 the American College of Sports Medicine published guidelines on exercise for cancer patients. It reduces side effects of treatment( (such as fatigue, depression and physical functioning) and improves quality of life.
